intoWords was born of the passion for languages and the desire to overcome linguistic barriers between peoples and cultures. Through translation, intoWords aims to build bridges that act as a geographical, social and economic link between different parts of the world, enabling its clients (whether private, companies or institutions) to achieve their goals.
Translation requires subject knowledge and specific skills. By collaborating with professional translators graduated from higher education institutions and specialised in different fields, intoWords guarantees quality at the highest level, valuing the adaptation of the text to the linguistic norms, customs, sensibilities and cultural beliefs of the target audience.

Native of Switzerland, but with Portuguese roots as well, Gilda holds a Master's degree in Translation and Multilingual Communication from the University of Minho (Portugal) and a Bachelor's degree in Translation from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal). Besides her native languages (Portuguese and Italian) she is also fluent in English, French and Spanish.
Throughout her career, in addition to her activity as a freelance translator, she has had the opportunity to work in different fields for companies operating internationally, which has enriched her both personally and professionally.
